Abubakar Aishatu Lami (Mrs.) hails from Bauchi, Bauchi State. She is married with children, a career Civil Servant who has rose through the ranks and presently holds the position of a Director.
In her early years of educational pursuit, she attended Shehu Garbai Primary School in Maiduguri and proceeded to Government Girls School, Bauchi in 1973. After her post primary education, she obtained an NCE in 1984 from the Advance Teachers College, Bauchi and OND in Accounting and Finance from the Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa. In 1990 she obtained her first degree from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and presently a holder of M.Sc. in Public Administration from Walden University in the United States.
She is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, Chartered (NIM), Nigerian Institute of Training and Development as well as a member of the Institute of Strategic Management, Nigeria (ISMN).
She worked as a tutor with Bauchi Government and later with the Federal Capital Development Territory, Abuja; before proceeding to Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) where she rose to the rank of Deputy Director, Staff Training and Development. She currently serves as the Director, Administration and Human Resource in National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA).
