Ahmed Okyara S. is a Sociologist and a seasoned Administrator. He has several years experience in human resource management and administration.  He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1988.

Mr Okyara started his career as a State Welfare Officer in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State from 1990 to 1996 and continued as a State Welfare Officer in Nasarawa State between 1996 and 2003. He became the Director, Administration and Supplies in Nasarawa State Hospitals Management Board from 2008 to 2011.

He has also served as Director, Administration and Supplies in the State Ministry of Justice between 2011 and 2013, State Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources from 2013 to 2016.

He was the Director, Internal Affairs in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State on Grade level 16 with the Nasarawa State Government until 2019 when he joined the National Primary Health Care Development Agency.

Mr. Ahmed Okyara S. was appointed the Director, Administration and Human Resource in March 2021, a position he has held till date.
