Integrated Vaccine Campaign Supervisory Visit to Akwanga Nassarawa State

The Executive Director/CEO NPHCDA, Dr. Muyi Aina in company of the Executive Secretary, State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr. Usman Iskilu Saleh, Deputy Chairman Akwanga LGA, Hon. Bassau Shuiabu, and relevant stakeholders conducted a supervisory visit to various vaccination centers in Akwanga, Nassarawa State.

These vaccination centers include:
✅PHC Wamba Akwanga
✅Angwan Tsebe Akwanga West Ward, LGA
✅Government Junior Secondary School, Akwanga

The integrated campaign for measles rubella, Human papilloma virus(HPV) polio, routine immunization vaccines, and neglected tropical diseases intervention is still ongoing.

📍We enjoin all parents, guardians, schools and religious centers to support this effort to protect our children from vaccine preventable diseases and secure their future.

📍Ensure that your child and every child in your neighborhood and community gets vaccinated.

➡Phase 1 of the integrated vaccine campaign is ongoing in 19 northern states and Oyo state 6th -15th October 2026.

➡While phase 2 in other southern states are scheduled to hold from January – February 2026.

➡Vaccines are safe, effective and paid for by the government.
